Carlos Motta

Carlos Motta es un artista multi-disciplinario cuya obra ha sido presentada internacionalmente en instituciones tales como el New Museum, Guggenheim Museum y MoMA/PS1 Contemporary Art Center, Nueva York; Institute of Contemporary Art, Filadelfia; Museo de Arte del Banco de la República, Bogotá, Museu Serralves, Porto; National Museum of Contemporary Art, Atenas; CCS Bard Hessel Museum of Art, Annandale-on-Hudson; San Francisco Art Institute y Hebbel am Ufer, Berlin. Es egresado del Whitney Independent Study Program, fue becario de la Guggenheim Foundation en 2008 y ha recibido becas de Art Matters en 2008, NYSCA en 2010 y Creative Capital Foundation en 2012. Actualmente es profesor de Parsons The New School of Design, The School of Visual Arts, Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts and Bard College, International Center of Photography y Vermont College of Fine Arts.
