Our story is set during the period of English colonial rule in India. Our hero is an Irish-Indian boy called Kim. His beautiful Indian mother had married an Irish sergeant in The Mavericks regiment. Sadly, both his mother and father died when he was very young. Kim inherited only his father's identity documents and a strange prophecy. The prophecy predicted that one day Kim was going to meet a colonel who would wait for him next to a red bull in a green field. Adapted from the picaresque novel of espionage, written by Sir Rudyard Kipling.
