A deadly virus has hit the planet in recent years, causing a pandemic that has killed millions of people worldwide, but the damage has not stopped there; the planet has faced shortages of all kinds and varieties of products, causing unemployment, hunger, and misery in much of the world. The survivors of this chaos are forced to live cloistered in their apartments in an endless quarantine, giving rise to a new form of society where technology plays a fundamental role in survival. Amidst all this, the protagonist struggles to find his great love, who is trapped between the real world and the imaginary.
