Complete and unabridged. A boy is cheated of his inheritance by an uncle, sold to a ship, and wrecked on the Hebridean coast, where he falls in with a Jacobite fugitive with a price on his head. Stevenson built it on the real Appin murder of 1752, for which a man almost certainly innocent was hanged; the flight through the heather is the best chase he ever wrote. Its 60 original illustrations have been carefully restored and coloured for this edition.

Robert Louis Stevenson

Autor

Edimburgo, (1850-1894).
